The Big News
I have just realized that Lizzie has told Jane about the proposal from Mr. Darcy. I hear that Jane was really surprised, as the rest of us were too. I'm still shocked by the news. Especially about how Darcy use to speak of Lizzie. I feel that Lizzie is starting to feel bad about denying him, though I feel she made the right decision.

You will be happy to know that Jane felt sad for Mr. Darcy because of the pain he must be feeling from my rejection of his proposal. Consequently, I am starting to relize that my rejection my have been a little harsh or even the wrong choice of words given the information displaced to me in his letter. If you are in touch with him could you please tell him of my apologizes for being so hateful in my rejection to his hand in marriage. It would make seeing him in person next time less akward and hurtful. As well, thank you for the support in my descion to say no to him. I know it might have been hard for him to hear, but it was the right answer and will be best for us all in the end.
